Get the Wi - Fi free in Hawaii

At the time, we called the "coco" wireless when the news spread quickly through word-of-mouth and jokingly code Hawaii used coconuts for phones. Today, this concept has taken an approach more high-tech. This is what the city of Honolulu has been called the "Kokua Wireless."

Kokua Wireless Hawaii

Hotspots wi - fi free in downtown Honolulu. The service will be expanded to parks Ala Moana and Kapi'olani.

Literally a network wireless, Kokua makes it easier for the internet access. It's free and completely community as voluntary local businesses to become an internet access point. So far, there are more than 2 400 hot spots throughout the State - of the large island of O 'ahu to Kaua'i' i. This includes up to Nanakuli Beach Park. Free wi - fi are increasing also in Kapi parks ' olani and Ala Moana.

Hawaii visitors particularly benefit from this service. Stay in touch with the members of the family at home by e-mail and social networks, or if you're lost, find the instructions online. Whenever I travel, I am always on the lookout for free wi - fi, which will be most of the time in the cafes. But fortunately for those of you in Hawaii, you can get online any tanning on the beach. Kokua in Hawaiian means "help." We hope that this initiative takes in other cities around the world, as a reminder of how we can work together, even in today's modern society.

Recently, this initiative has been named one of the 100 most innovative and inspirational infrastructure urban projects in the world. A report by KPMG International applauded Kokua wireless to assist Honolulu to become a smart and well informed "city of the future."
