How to make the Malasadas

If you have been here in Hawaii vacation, we hope (fingers crossed) that you have collected a Malasada.  These Portuguese balls of dough fried in oil and rolled in sugar granulated, like a donut, but less the hole.  They are hot, sweet, rolled in cinnamon and fried to perfection and many stalls, bakeries and food stands are in Hawaii.  Because we love these local goodies so much, we decided to share with you the recipe, in the hope that you bring these malasadas back home and share them with your friends and family.  They are great as a dessert, lunch, treat, or breakfast for the carb lovers and who are us joke, not all are?  This easy recipe produces malasadas soul-warming which are guaranteed to become a favorite in no time.  Make sure you just pass the recipe along to those who love them too, otherwise you will have neighbours knocking at the door, all the time!

Malasada recipe:
(Fact 34 - loz parties)

Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups bread flour
1 1/2 tsp instant yeast
2 tsp salt
5 1/4 tbsp sugar
5 Egg yellow
3/4 cup water
3 spoons with soup and 1 teaspoon milk
4 1/4 TSP butter

Mixing:
1. In a bowl to mix with the paddle, put all the dry ingredients.
2 Put in mixing and add all liquids slowly.
3 Mixture 2 minutes on the first speed until the ingredients are combined and 10 minutes on the second speed.
4 Remove the dough and cover and let stand for 5 minutes covered.
5 Roll the dough on a surface, sprinkle with 1/4 inch thick.
6 Using a round cutter, cut out circles and place on a floured cloth or a pan lined with pan liner.
7. The evidence of 1 1/2 hour.
8 Fry at 350 ° F in a saucepan with of oil about 3 inches high.
9 Remove when is a uniform color.
10 Drain the Donuts before roll in the cinnamon sugar.

This can be eaten as is or stuffed with your favorite type of filling.
