Waikiki Aquarium tells stories of the ocean

What call you little guppies. The Waikiki Aquarium is having its 3rd annual fishing stories, and it's the Chronicles, trades and the creatures. It is by far one of my favorite aquarium because it fun reading and spreading for the keiki (children) in a frame surrounded by sea creatures and the vast blue ocean. Who wouldn't enjoy time in history with Mr. Octopus?

Waikiki Aquarium Fish Tales

Costumed characters are a hit in the annual fishing stories.

The day is devoted to literacy with activities on the theme of the ocean for the family. Last year, I took a group of tykes this annual fishing stories. They loved the marine animals in period costume who roamed around, read some stories while others sing and dance. I would say that they were high enough there with the characters at Disneyland that we all know and love.

If you are looking for something creative and practice for children, then it will be puppet, arts and crafts, face painting and drawing of cartoon. Activities will be surely teach them a thing or two about the ocean and its underwater creatures, as well as keep entertain throughout the day.

Children to explore the different colours of the ocean.

It is therefore important for the small (and we, adults) to learn as much as possible on the ocean, nature and everything between. Above all, it is essential that they learn how to take care of her and prevent further depletion. I hope event this year will be featured a recycling and a range of cleaning of the beach, or better yet, 20 minutes of the event dedicated to the collection of the garbage on the beach with some of the characters in period costume!
