Wild for Waiola Shave Ice

Hawaii Five-0 fans know to ask the "five - 0 Rainbow" when they go to Waiola shave ice. The liliko'i, lychee and cotton candy combo became an official flavor after what Kamekona (Taylor Wily) offered to the show?s three main characters in first episode of the season. In fact, Waiola is now a recurring name in Five-0 which continues to share his gentleness with Hollywood and the real-life clients.

Waiola Shave Ice

Order shave ice in three easy steps. Choose your size, flavours and fillings.

You will find Waiola in two places on O'ahu. the original is nestled in a local neighborhood and has been serving the community for decades. He even managed to keep façade vintage up to this day, qualifying easily among the many hole-in-the-walls to visitors to stop in while in the Islands.

The second place is the brother of hipper and younger of the original Waiola. Right Kapahulu Avenue, a few minutes from Waikiki, this store is also crushed between the local residences and could easily confuse a House itself... If it was not for his outside blue and bright yellow. Originally, it was located on Kapahulu Avenue but has since evolved some Kholmsk (towards the mountains) Mokihana Street blocks. There are many shaded tables and benches outside. The Interior seems to be partitioned off the coast as a part and part souvenir crack seed store shop. But what I like the most, is that despite his new coat of paint, he managed to pass another related. However, it was in a particularly convenient place for refueling after a long day in the Sun and waves.

Waiola Shave Ice

Vanilla, meet honeydew. Everyone, meet Mr. Waiola.

You're probably wondering how the ice shaving here compared to Matsumoto, the world renowned on the north shore. Waiola is, hands down, my favorite shave ice place. Not only because it is closer to the House, but because it was so smooth, it slides down your throat as ice cream. except, this version is much healthier than ice cream!

Speaking of flavours. Waiola has tons - of the premises as liliko'i and for the classics, such as vanilla and strawberry guava. You can animate your invention even more that he is already adding ice cream, azuki beans, chocolate, mochi balls, li hing mui or milk condensed in the mixture. My personal favorites? Adzuki beans, a sweet red bean paste of Asia that you will probably find in Asian pastries from Chinatown.
