Real Hawaiian Pizza at the V-Lounge

If you think that a "Hawaiian Pizza" is a pineapple and ham, then you were mislead your taste buds throughout. Pizza at the V-Lounge is the definition of a true pizza of Hawaii. It is made with ingredients grown and locally reared on our soil of the island. But giving it that extra kick of authenticity is the pizza, cooking method. To 800 degrees Fahrenheit, the oven comes to life with each poppine County sizzle'i kiawe wood.

V - Lounge is known for its smoked flavor pizza.

You will see the kiawe around trees in the Islands, and despite the introduction, trees provide ample shade and serve as a popular wood for heating or cooking. Just be careful not to walk on their thorny branches! This is why the first bite in a V-Lounge pizza immediately screams "Hawaiian". They say that it is almost like a dip sauce. I think I'll have to overcome my phobia of raw egg and try it the next time I go to V-Lounge.

If you still cannot decide on what to order, you can always have recourse to the construction of your own pizza.

The pizzas are a little on the expensive side, ranging from $ 13 to $ 16 for what is considered a medium-sized pizza, say, Pizza Hut.
