Real Hawaiian Pizza at the V-Lounge

If you think that a "Hawaiian Pizza" is a pineapple and ham, then you were mislead your taste buds throughout. Pizza at the V-Lounge is the definition of a true pizza of Hawaii. It is made with ingredients grown and locally reared on our soil of the island. But giving it that extra kick of authenticity is the pizza, cooking method. To 800 degrees Fahrenheit, the oven comes to life with each poppine County sizzle'i kiawe wood.

V-Lounge Hawaii

V - Lounge is known for its smoked flavor pizza.

You will see the kiawe around trees in the Islands, and despite the introduction, trees provide ample shade and serve as a popular wood for heating or cooking. Just be careful not to walk on their thorny branches! Some say that it is a little softer than its continental version (mesquite), which is clearly apparent in the juicy kalua pork and meat smoked in the popular festivities lu to the.

This is why the first bite in a V-Lounge pizza immediately screams "Hawaiian". Mixed hand pulp Pickles in the flavours smoked of the kiawe while shooting grown locally Hamakua, fungi, macadamia nuts and eggs. In fact, eggs on pizza Prima not be cooked they are cracked directly on the pizza and served in its purest form. I haven't tried this one yet, but my friends swear by it. They say that it is almost like a dip sauce. I think I'll have to overcome my phobia of raw egg and try it the next time I go to V-Lounge.

Raw egg is an essential element for the Prima.

Our usual order is the Sopressatta - with sauce of tomato san marzano, fresh mozzarella, parmigiano-reggiano and sopressatta. Can tell you I have written it Word for Word the salon-V Web site? I would take days to find how to spell worse still, he to decide. For me, it's simple. Fresh mozzarella, is what did the trick to merge the flavors together. If you still cannot decide on what to order, you can always have recourse to the construction of your own pizza.

The pizzas are a little on the expensive side, ranging from $ 13 to $ 16 for what is considered a medium-sized pizza, say, Pizza Hut. But in their defense, it is artisanal pizza of quality made to perfection. Don't worry, V-Lounge is not anywhere near a Pizza Hut. They do not have a full bar and stay open until 04 for those seeking snacks comments sober-me-up. From the outside, it looks like a related but the Interior, it is fairly classy. Just not be pasted when you see the worker with the hairstyle of shark fins. It is really really nice, always standing firmly in their pizza (and he made the fashion statement).
